KSA, Japan sign MoU on social development

JEDDAH: The Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding that aims to enhance cooperation in social development.
The signing ceremony in Tokyo was initiated by Saudi Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis, and JICA Vice President Kazuhiko Koshikawa.
The agreement comes on the sidelines of King Salman’s Asia tour.
Both sides agreed to share and exchange expertise and training programs, foster a volunteer culture in both countries, enhance related regulations and extend cooperation in research and studies.
JICA plays a crucial role in Japan in developing human resources.
