King receives Saudi scholarship students in China
BEIJING — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received here today a group of Saudi students on scholarship in China.
The King, in his speech, said: “I’m glad to see our sons and daughters working hard in seeking knowledge in various sciences. You shall return to serve your country. There is no doubt that our country, since its founding, has been taking care of its citizens in all areas.”
The King lauded the level reached by the Kingdom in education. He thanked Allah Almighty for the achievements made by Saudi students, as they now hold the highest degrees in all fields. He added that Saudi students can be found studying everywhere in the world.
The Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in China Dr. Fahd Al-Sharif expressed his delight and the happiness of Saudi students on scholarship over the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to China.
In a related development, King Salman issued directives that male and female students, studying now at their own expense in China should be incorporated within the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques External Scholarship Program.
This applies to Saudi students who have already started their academic studies in recommended universities and in approved specializations for scholarships or those who have completed the required credit hours in other specializations.
The reception was attended by several princes and senior officials in the delegation accompanying the King on his visit to China. — SPA
