Municipality gives iftar meals to 7,000 workers

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Municipality has launched an initiative to provide iftar meals to 7,000 low-income workers, including cleaners, in the Musaffah residential area. The initiative is being carried out under the supervision of the Musaffah Centre.

The initiative, funded by employees at the municipality, will be carried out throughout Ramadan in cooperation with the private sector. The initiative is in line with 2017 being declared as the Year of Giving by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
